We’re still in the first week of the Brave Buddy Team Faster Run Challenge and we’re LOVING the dedication and hard work all our run buddies have put into it.  We’re seeing Instagram posts galore showing miles completed, happy pre-5k race faces and post-run sweaty selfies.  It’s so inspiring to see people from all over join forces to become stronger, better versions of themselves (and maybe score some Puma swag in the process.)

We’ve heard a lot of Brave Body Project members say:  “I don’t run.  I suck at running. I’m not a REAL runner.”  We’re here to tell you that that simply isn’t true.  Let’s redefine what it means to be a runner.

If you’re running, if you’re putting one foot in front of the other towards that finish line then you ARE a runner. Running doesn’t have anything to do with how fast you are, how long you run, or how much you run.  Fast, slow, long, short, it doesn’t matter.  What makes a runner?  You do.

Lastly, your Brave Body Project gals are signed up for the NYRR Mini 10k in Central Park on Saturday, June 11th at 8:00AM and we want YOU to run with team BBP!  Sign up for the race and email us at to let us know you’re in.  We’ll update you with a pre-race meet-up space for some high fives and free BBP tanks to wear during the race.  How much fun is THAT?!
